My First Christmas Mini Photo Sessions in Strasbourg – 2024

When I moved to Strasbourg — the Capital of Christmas — I knew I had to create something special for the holiday season.

So in December 2024, I opened the doors of my home studio for the very first time to host Christmas Mini Photo Sessions, and it turned into one of the most meaningful experiences of my career so far.

A simple Christmas setup, full of warmth

I wanted the setup to feel like a natural extension of the holidays at home. No over-the-top decorations or heavy themes. Just a cozy corner with warm lights, soft textures, and a festive but understated vibe.

The goal was to let the connection between families shine — not the decor. And that’s exactly what happened.

What made these sessions special

Each session was short — around 15–20 minutes — but so full of genuine moments. Kids being kids, parents sharing glances, siblings laughing together. Some families were shy at first, others dove right in.

What surprised me most was how relaxed everyone felt. The home studio setting really made a difference. No big lights, no rush, no stiff poses. Just real families enjoying a moment together.

This was my first time offering seasonal mini sessions, and I learned so much: – Short sessions are perfect for families with young children – A warm, minimal setup lets the emotions take center stage – Every family has its own rhythm, and the best photos come from following it
