Your home is your sanctuary. It’s where you feel safest, most relaxed, and truly yourselves. For new parents, especially, this familiarity is everything. There’s no packing a bag for the baby, no navigating unfamiliar routes, and no worrying about feeding schedules in a strange place.

This comfort translates directly into the photographs. When parents are at ease, their natural tenderness shines through. The gentle way a mother holds her baby, the protective embrace of a father, the curious gaze of a sibling — these moments unfold organically in a familiar environment.

I don’t need elaborate sets or artificial props. Your home provides a beautiful, personal backdrop that no studio can replicate. It’s your life, your space, your beginning as a family.

My approach to newborn photography

I want to be upfront: I don’t offer traditional posed newborn photography. Those carefully arranged, highly stylized images with intricate wraps and specific poses require extensive specialized training and safety protocols.

My focus is different. I capture authentic, heartfelt portraits that reflect the natural bond between parents and their little ones. Think gentle cuddles, soft gazes, and the quiet intimacy of those early days.

What to expect from an at-home session

A relaxed, unhurried experience: I typically allow about 2 hours to ensure we work around your baby’s needs.

Natural light: I work with the beautiful natural light in your home, creating soft, warm images.

Lifestyle approach: Rather than posed shots, I guide you into natural interactions and capture the genuine moments that unfold.

Flexibility: If baby needs to feed, sleep, or be changed, we pause. There’s no rush.

The whole family: Siblings, partners, even grandparents are welcome to join.
